Updating Themes

  • What do you mean when you say customization will be lost when updating the Sydney theme. I’d like to stay up to date but would hate to have to redo all of the work it took to get this far. Thank you

    “customization will be lost when updating the Sydney theme” it means that if you modifying the existing code directly. automatically your custom code will be lost when you update the theme.

    Its recommended if you are using Child theme if you want to modifying the existing code.
