While running updates this morning on one of my customer websites, I discovered that the updates completely broke one of the websites. The site in question is built on TheGem theme with visual page builder from WPBakery. I have run the 4.5.3 update on a few other sites with no problem, so it does appear to be particular to TheGem theme.

At first, I had no idea what broke the site, but I restored from backup and went through the plugin updates one by one. It is this exact plugin that screwed everything up. With version 4.5.1 installed, the site is fine and analytics are working. But when updating to 4.5.3, the site gets hosed – mega menus in the navigation stopped working, icons in buttons no longer are displayed, the blog element that lists articles on various pages throughout the site don’t work, revolution slider no longer works… the list goes on…

I will continue running version 4.5.1 of this plugin until a newer version of your plugin comes out. I’ll try again at that point. If that version fails as well, I’ll be using another plugin for analytics on this site.
