• Hi,
I have 4 websites. 3 of them are updated to 4.1 and one is still 4.0.1
The last one is not updated, because there is no an updating message.
Do I have to updated manually or to wait for the invitation? ??

    *Takes deep breath*

I formally invite you to update to 4.1! Make backups first just in case.

I never did that before. ??

WordPress does not automatically update from 4.0.1 to 4.1 by default. Ever. Some people set that up via the wp-config.php file, a plugin, or your host does it for you.

If you have an installation on 4.0.1 please update to 4.1 via your dashboard.

The suggestion above is 100% correct, follow those. One thing I did was view my theme developers page to ensure the theme had been updated/compatable with 4.1. You can do this with plugins but can be time consuming.

    Thank you Jan Dembowski!
    Your invitation is accepted ??
enginematt, thank you for the suggestion!
I will update to 4.1, but manually.
My dashboard doesn’t give me the option to update through the installation, as it is with all other websites.
Anyway, I am very grateful for your help!
    Have a very happy 2015!

    Still on 4.0.1
Do I have to worry about it or to go for a manual upgrading?
