    Updating the plugin to v0.12.11 breaks the theme legacy down arrow icon and the last 2 Menu Icons do not display the correct accent color. I cleared all cache without correcting the issue.
    I had to roll the plugin back to v0.12.10 to have the correct icons displayed.
    Theme is Nisarg v1.2.9.
    Wordpress V5.9.2
    roll back displays correct
    update displays wrong
    Any fix for this?
    Thanks!

  • Hi @shwebb15,

    Thanks for choosing the Menu Icons plugins!

    I tested this with other themes as well and everything is working properly, so I would suggest addressing this issue to the theme authors, maybe they will be able to help.

    Thank you and have a nice day!

    I have this exact issue on a client site. Upgrading to 0.12.11 breaks all legacy icons while 0.12.10 works just fine. Switching themes is not an option for us.

    Hi @noboxjoakim!

    Could you please tell us what theme do you use?

    Thank you!

    Hi @shwebb15!

    As I mentioned in my first reply, I would suggest addressing this issue to the theme authors. You can check this with a default theme like Twenty Twenty One and you’ll see that the arrow icon is properly displayed with the latest version of the Menu Icons plugin, so it doesn’t seem to be a plugin issue that we can fix on our end.

    Have a nice day!

    I inherited a site where similarly some icons wouldn’t display when upgrading to v0.12.11. Downgrading to v0.12.10 works fine.

    This is using the Total theme (https://themeforest.net/item/total-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/6339019)

    Seems that something changed in the plugin else reverting to the previous versions wouldn’t fix things when nothing else changes.

    Since I’m new to the plugin I don’t know about Legacy or otherwise. I just was seeing that one could go and set a menu icon, but it wouldn’t display on the site, while other icons would.

    i’ll just stick with v0.12.10 but felt I should post that it’s not just the other person’s theme only at least.

    Not sure if this sheds any light, but I do see a difference in the class structure for font awesome between the icons that worked after update and the one’s that had problems.

    These worked after plugin update:
    class=”_mi _before fa fa fa-home”
    class=”_mi _before fa fa fa-bullhorn”
    class=”_mi _before fa fa fa-briefcase”
    class=”_mi _before fa fa fa-phone”

    These did not:
    class=”_mi _before fa fa-file-text”
    class=”_mi _before fa fab fa-black-tie”

    Hi @endymion00,

    Thanks for providing your insight on this!

    We reported this issue to our developers to see what can be done about it. In the meantime, using the previous version of the plugin (0.12.10) should help.

    Thank you and have a good day!
