Updating travelify – customisation

  • Hello,
    I am a bit insecure about updating travelify to the new version 2.3.0. It says: Please Note: Any customizations you have made to theme files will be lost. Please consider using child themes for modifications.
    What does this mean? Will i need to redo a lot. What is covered by the customisation. What are the Theme files???
