    An API problem

    Hi Jetpack CRM team,
I have used your CRM plugin for the last two years as a volunteer database in my NGO. The CRM is connected to the form plugin Formidable, and when people sign up via forms on our website, they enter the CRM. Over the last few weeks, I have encountered a new problem that I didn’t have before. If someone signs up via my form and is already in the CRM, the system does recognize it as a duplication via the email field and doesn’t create a new entry – which is good, of course. But it changes the status of this person to the default option, which is very bad in our case.

This is how the HTTP Request looks like
    https://XXXX.org/zbs_api/create_customer?api_key=XXXXXXXXX&api_secret=XXXXXXX
Also, I’m not mapping the status eld via our forms.

Is there a way to stop it from doing so?
    p.s
I tried downgrading the Jetpack CRM plugin to 5.4.2, but still no luck. Do you recommend downgrading it to an even earlier version?

    Thank you!

    Hi @kremoni

Here at Jetpack support, we cover a wide range of support queries but all in regard to the features and functionalities of our client’s Jetpack CRM subscriptions. Our scope of support, unfortunately, does not extend into to address the concerns you have outlined in this request.

Also, we don’t currently have the bandwidth to do any custom dev work ourselves, as we’re focused fully on improving our core products, but several users have had success hiring freelancers as needed, so if customizations are very important to you and you’re unable to implement it yourself, you might want to consider going that route.

Having said that, our development team was able to do double-check to the API documentation and there hasn’t been any changes. Everything is working as expected. Our recommendation is to always pass a status to the API, so it uses the provided status.

    Best,
    Alba

    OK, I understand that.
Thank you for double-checking the API.
