Updating WordPress

  • Hi there, I recently updated WordPress manually to the most recent version but when the page came that that asked me to update the database, I clicked to do that and the screen went blank with just the WP logo at the top. The website is currently not running and I’m worried I’ve damaged it. It’s a client’s site. Eek! Anyone have experience in this? Thank you!

  • Is everything OK now? I just went to the website you posted and it seems to be live and working. Also, are you able to log into the admin area?
