updating wordpress version – will spun still work with all plugins?

  • hi there,
    of maybe even: @anevins? – hope you can help me.
    i build my website some years ago and never made a update.
    i would like to use the polylang plugin to offer an english version of my site. but the plugin requires a more recent version of wordpress.
    now i am quite afraid that i update and that my website won’t work anymore afterwards.
    what can i do? do i have to check the other plugins.
    of shouldn’t there be any problem with updates?
