    Hey team,

should I be including updraft as a third party in my privacy policy? I am only using the free version. If yes, what data do you collect and what should I be including in my policy about updraft?

Also, If I am sending backups to google drive should I be including them in my privacy policy as well?

    Thanks

    Hey Bryle

    thanks for the link.

So if I am currently sending back ups to google drive are they getting all my website data including any visitor data that might be collected by other plug ins? Or is that all stored on my wordpress database with my hosting provider? If it all gets send to google drive should I be including them as a third party in my privacy policy?

    I really appreciate your help.

    Thank

Your backups contain all the data that makes up your website.

We can’t say what legal liabilities that places upon you; that’s more of a question for your company lawyer. Possibly you might be interested in the add-on for encrypting backups: https://updraftplus.com/shop/moredatabase/
