Updraft Backup

  • Im new to wordpress and know very little of codes etc.
    I just started using updraft back up to back up to my drop box which works ok as far as i know on manual back up but the Schedule. ive got this error message and ive read the website link on what to do but i dont understand it at all as i have basic knowledge on websites. Warning: The scheduler is disabled in your WordPress install, via the DISABLE_WP_CRON setting. No backups can run (even “Backup Now”) unless either you have set up a facility to call the scheduler manually, or until it is enabled. Go here for more information.

    I have 2 site with the same host and only getting this message on one.So what ive done is tried to look at why. I cant see much as i have added diffrent plugins etc and setting. From the plugins already there when installing wordpress ive deactivated the WP Crontrol plugin. Now i only get this message which still directs me to the page ive read and dont understand. Warning: WordPress has a number (24) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working.
