I get this updraft email after every automatic backup of my wordpress website. This is the sentence at the end of the email. How do you resolve this?

    Warnings encountered:

    • Failed to backup database table: (SELECT command denied to user ”@’localhost’ for column ‘ID’ in table ‘wpsg_uap_action_log’) (table_details_error)

    Hi?,

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the backup log?
This log can be found in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus dashboard.
If you cannot access the UpdraftPlus dashboard, then you can find the log file in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory via FTP or your hosts’ file manager.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

I cannot upload upload any attachment as a response to this. And I cannot copy-paste the log file either.

I just got this examined by Hostgator who said this: “On checking, it seems to be a sync issue with the phpmyadmin.” But when I did a backup again with Updraft, I still get the same issue mentioned in the notification email.

    Hi,

It appears that the database user does not have enough permission to do select query.
Can you ask your host/server admin to grant permission to the user? You can show them the error message you are getting.

    Thanks,
    Bryle
