• Unfortunately for me everything collapsed in the middle of the backup. I can no longer access the admin area or the backend. But I have a copy of the backup on my Google cloud. How can I import this backup? Or who do I contact to get help?

    Here is the error message when I try to log into the WordPress admin area:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_kses() in /usr/www/users/cgpzex/wp-content/db.php:28 Stack trace: #0 /usr/www/users/cgpzex/wp-includes/ load.php(550): require_once() #1 /usr/www/users/cgpzex/wp-settings.php(124): require_wp_db() #2 /usr/www/users/cgpzex/wp-config.php( 93): require_once(‘/usr/www/users/…’) #3 /usr/www/users/cgpzex/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘/usr/www/users/.. .’) #4 /usr/www/users/cgpzex/wp-admin/admin.php(34): require_once(‘/usr/www/users/…’) #5 /usr/www/users/cgpzex /wp-admin/index.php(10): require_once(‘/usr/www/users/…’) #6 {main} thrown in /usr/www/users/cgpzex/wp-content/db.php online 28

    Thanks very much.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
