i received this last log message notice on my UPDRAFT DASHBOARD as follows “Working binary zip found: /usr/bin/zip (Aug 10 15:05:32)”

Is this a warning? Can anyone explain why this message should appear?

    Many thanks

    Hi,

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the backup log?
This log can be found in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus dashboard.
If you cannot access the UpdraftPlus dashboard, then you can find the log file in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory via FTP or your hosts’ file manager.

    Best Wishes,

It’s just information, it’s telling you it found binary zip executable for creating zip files.

If this is not available you would need to use another method to zip your files.

It is nothing that you need to worry about

Just a comment. As far as I can tell, it’s not a problem, but rather an inconvenience.

I am also getting this message, but not at the end of my log file. My log file is normal, and the last message in that is that the last backup succeeded, which may have been done days earlier.

It happens when I login and check to make sure the last backup finished successfully before I update anything. Its timestamp is about the same time as my login. This happens for every site. The only annoying thing is that I have to then go into my log file to see if it succeeded instead of seeing the message right on the plugin’s home screen. I am a bit concerned that something in the plugin may still be running days after the backup has completed.

I am also having this constantly on all my websites. Just started a few months back. Never happened before. And now and then one of my sites will give the actual completed message. Why the change and why is this only here and there?

I’m still getting this message, on all the sites. Since I often check before I do any updates whether the last backup was successful, it’s annoying to have to go into the log file for each site rather than to see the message on the main screen that the last backup was successful. I wish this could be fixed.
