Hi, I recently began having problems with opening pages in Elementor. THe page would be grayed out and a blue spinning ball appeared. After recommendations from Elementor, I deactivated/reactivated my plugins to determine which one might be interfering (since I had a memory limit of 256mb). It turned out it’s the Updraft Plus plugin that was the culprit. That said, is anyone else having this issue and if so what would be my best solution for backing my site up? Thanks!

    Hi,

Is the backup running or is the UpdraftPlus Backups page open at the same time? UpdraftPlus only uses memory when it is used or opened.

    Thanks,

    Hi Bryce,

Thanks for the response. I don’t believe the page was open. The plugin collects from the site once a day. Having said all this, it seems that there is some kind of conflict between Updraft and some of the WooCommerce plugins. I have a feeling I may have to review and reduce the number of WooCommerce plugins.

    Thanks,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Yes, that might be the case. We are using Woocommerce as well but not getting the same issue.

    Thanks,

    Hi Bryce,

I’m just starting out with my site which is mainly an artist gallery with a small purchase selection For something that modest in scale, do you have any general recommendations as to number and type of Woo plugins?

    Thanks!

    Hi Michael,

That really depends on the functionality that your website needs. There is really no limit as long as the plugin does not conflict with each other. You need to let the developers of the plugin know about the conflict as their code should not run on other pages.

    Thanks,
    Bryle
