Updraft Plus crashing when updating

Hello,

For the past week or more I’ve been trying to update Updraft Plus but it hasn’t worked. The site goes into maintenance mode and won’t let me access WP for about 20 minutes and then goes back to the dashboard and asks me to attempt the update again.

I’ve done this several times but each time it keeps crashing. Please can you advise why this might be happening?
