Updraft Plus: Database restore (2 WP installations in database)

    I have 2 WordPress installations under the same database table, just a different prefix.

    1)
    Database website2
    TablePrefix wp_

    2) Database website2
    TablePrefix wpvoting_

    Is it possible to restore the database in the 2nd installation (wpvoting_) by restoring my saved database with UpdraftPlus (via plugin) without any effects on the 1st installation (wp_)? Or will it crash my whole database? Because the 1st installation needs these values.

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus will only affect the tables that match the current site’s table prefix.
    So a restoration of the database on website2 will only change tables using the ‘wpvoting_’ prefix.
