My settings inside Updraft are set to upload to my Amazon S3 account, but when I looked on Amazon, the bucket that is supposed to contain backup files only contains files from May of 2018. Apparently, there are no backup files being stored on S3 even though the Updraft plugin itself indicates backups every 4 hours through today. What could be happening? I tested the S3 connection, and the plugin indicated that the connection is fine.

And Updraft is set to only keep the last 30 backups, yet there are backups in my S3 account going back more than a year.

  • I just had a similar experience accessing Updraft backup files in S3. I thought the last backup had ended on Jan 9, but it turned out to be an issue with the S3 filtering system… if you sort the backup files in your bucket by date, it will only sort the files that are visible on the page currently (300 in our case)… but you may need to click to the 2nd page (ie. results 300-600) or further and sort each page by date to find the recent ones.

Hope your issue is as easily resolved as mine was….

    Hi @mborland,

    Thanks for that.

@wordzy can you confirm that you are still experiencing the same issue?
If yes, can you provide copy of the backup log please?

    Regards,
    Bryle
