Updraftplus backup is taking too long time

Hi,

It appears that something is timing out or killing off the backup process very early each run.

Please could you ask your hosts/server admin to check the PHP error logs? These should contain further information on any errors that are occurring.

I want to share with you how to fix that problem 100% , UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin is the best Backup,I used in my website everybody complaints that error when you restored or Migrate , I tested to migrate my website just a Backup only ,I got error also ,But how i fix my website just only a backup of UpdraftPlus, i cannot make any backup error also data to big security check , But today i find the answer even you use database cleaner still the same problem ,the only way you have to fix that issue use the garbage collector scan you will see the red table data or remnant of that plugin that you deleted before still in the database you have to empty that or delete still eating data that why database make bigger everyday..if you have any problem you can ask me anytime…

They said every thing is fine with PHP error log and asked me to disable all your plugins except for UpdraftPlus and do Re-enable them, one-by-one, and reload the UpdraftPlus backup each time. I have tried this solution and couldn’t get the issue resolved, as the error is coming for each and individual plugins and theme. Request you to guide me.

I have freshly started developing this website by seeing youtube and taking help from experts in the online forums. Could you guide me in cleaning data base to resolve the issue. It would be a grateful if you could help me out on this.

Hello @ritzonline, I have removed red table data using garbage cleaner tool (Plugins Garbage Collector). Still I am find the same problem, the backup is not getting completed. Please guide me further more fix the issue.

Please could you ask your hosts to check the PHP maximum execution time?

Try adding this to your wp-config.php, after the first few lines:

define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true);

I think I remember hearing a testimony that on Siteground, /usr/bin/zip is horrible slow.
