I tried backing up my site, and after almost 5 hours decided I should see if someone could decipher any issues with the log that might be able to help speed things up:

    https://pastebin.com/tkMh4yZy

This issue seems to repeat itself: PHP event: code E_WARNING: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=128199 (line 1924, wp-includes/wp-db.php)

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

The log shows that the backup is progressing, with 5GB of data so far. The speed at which it can progress depends mostly upon the resources made available by the web hosting platform; some tips to maximise use of those resources are here: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-much-resources-does-updraftplus-need/

Should i be concerned about this:
PHP event: code E_WARNING: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=128199 (line 1924, wp-includes/wp-db.php)

Or the fact that some files say they have vanished from underneath us?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

The Query packet error means that there was an issue updating the backup record in the database. However, this is not affecting the backup itself, and the record is updated later.

I cannot find in the log where a file is indicated as missing. Do you have an example?
