    Hello,

Whenever we backup and restore with UpdraftPlus we lose part of our custom settings in the Complianz plugin (related to the cookie banner – all other settings are ok).

    Why is that?

UpdraftPlus works great with absolutely everything else on our site.

    Hi,

Do you get any error/warning message after restore?
Are all the settings and configration for that plugins saved in the database?

    Hello @bcrodua,

No error or warning messages after restore.

I’ve just checked the database file and it doesn’t have the right settings in ‘cmplz_cookiebanners’. I’ve also searched for the custom “cookie message” I’ve put and the custom “Accept all” text and they are not present.

This is very weird as the rest of the settings are always alright after restore.

Why is it not pulling these settings in the database?

    Hi,

    Apologies, for the late reply.

Can you please send us a copy of the restoration log only?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
You can send the log file and copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )

Can you also confirm that you are using the latest version already?

    Regards,
    Bryle
