Updraftplus error: Dropbox/Curl fouten: error:0D0890A1:asn1 encoding routines:AS

  • Updraftplus was running fine for weeks, saving backup to Dropbox. Now, since a couple of weeks, it only returns errors.

    Dropbox/Curl fouten: error:0D0890A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_verify:unknown message digest algorithm

    I even erased all settings, but now I can’t find any way to enter credentials for Dropbox. Updraftplus still thinks I already entered them.

    Any help appreciated!

  • I’m running into the same issue with one of my plugins. It may be that the hosting provider needs to update the server’s version of OpenSSL.
