updraftplus: errors in backup. Not completed

    Hello,
    I have just started a multisite (1 main site and 3 others) and tried to back them up. For each site, I get this message:

    No backup has been completed […] Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of errors

    It can’t be a problem of size since there is hardly anything yet on my sites.

    For info: 1) they were not scheduled backups, just manual. I asked to be stored on email and I received them. 2) I use updraftplus on 3 other websites and it’s always worked perfectly. 3) I’m one of the translation helpers (to French)

    The concerned website is https://www.abvd.be (the front page is a temporary htm page at the moment. Not a WordPress one yet)

    I put the log of the main site’s backup in pastebin –> https://pastebin.com/AHR3d8CZ
    (I guess the log of main site is enough as they are all behaving the same. If you need more, please tell me.

    Hi,

    The error is when it tries to email you the backups… almost certainly that’s because they are too big for email and the email server is refusing to carry them. You’ll need to use a different storage method instead of email.

    Thank you for swift response.

    I just followed the Google Drive procedure, which I have used for other websites, encountering no problem, but this time,the procudure fails. After having filled the client ID and secret, then saved, when I click the “Authenticate with Google:” link, I get this message on a Google page :

    Erreur :invalid_client

    I can’t suggest much more than wiping the settings and trying again!

    Same here. Tried deleting/recreating the client ID at least 4 times now. Made sure to copy/paste the info directly and exactly from Google to the plugin settings. Always getting invalid_client.

    FINALLY got it to work. I had to switch the old style API console. Using the new console kept giving me the invalid_client for some reason.
