    Hi there,

The server side fix has indeed proven to be the solution for many users.
That said, to identify any other possible issues can you attach a log file?
The preferred method of doing this is by using a service like PasteBin.

    Best regards,

    Nick

I can confirm that this is the fix. Patched it and all started working flawlessly again.

By the way, no Dropbox-related code has changed in the latest release. Our analysis indicates that it’s some Dropbox servers which have changed their behaviour. The fact that we happened to make a new release around the same time appears to be unrelated.

I am having the same issue – using SiteGround as host after fleeing from BlueHost. I have reached out to DropBox (nothing they can do!), and reached out to Updraft (nothing yet) and SiteGround (nothing yet – except their bot suggested I apply the patch – that seems scary to me).

I see the suggestion for a patch, and mentioning “the server side”. Is this something that the Hosting company has to do or am I to somehow apply a patch within my own WordPress environment?

    Thanks for your help.

I have Curl Version 8.2.1 OpenSSL/3.1.4 — and am having same issue. Is this the same problem?

@billsall54 – it’s likely that you are having a different issue. The issue was not with the Curl version that you have installed.

Can you start a new thread and post your log using a tool such as pastebin.com
