    Hi,

after the upgrade, my post list doesn’t show anything.
Tried to change some options, but nothing happens.
    Anyone with the same problem?
    thanks,
    Enrico.

Yes. It seems like the post filter logic has changed. In my case, I had a category selected for both post and pages, with the intention of including items of that category that were either posts OR pages . It was working fine, but after the update it looks as the logic has become posts AND pages, which is always false.

My solution was easy as I didn’t have any posts (only pages), so I removed that selection and everything worked fine. But of course it’s not ideal.

The filter logic hasn’t changed much except with the UI. The query is still the same, but the data saved switched from wp_options to post data.

I believe it is a different problem being cause with pre get posts, where some plugins can modify queried data, which can become a problem.

If you are able to, preferably on a test site, deactivate the plugins one by one. It may help to find the source of the problem. Normally it’s not something I would request, but I suspect it is a similar issue I’m trying to get more info on.

Although, if you believe it is a configuration conflict. I may need to check the post list configuration to see where the conflict occurs.

I lost all my data as well. I had to recreate the system I was using. Was faster than waiting for the fix.

If there was additional information supplied regarding certain configurations, then I could expedite an update for everyone. Unfortunately, very little to no information has been supplied.

For anyone that might have the same issue, and would like to help. There is a Development Form available to initiate a private discussion.

    Right now, I’m looking into…
    * Plugins that may use pre_get_posts.
    * A possible defect in the Updater Class. (Altho, it doesn’t appear to be the root issue)

Possible Solution: Change the slug to a unique value. By that, I mean a slug that is completely different from any other slug on the website.

I found a possible bug that was resolved once before, but it seems to be triggered environmentally when certain plugins/themes are in use.

I added a possible fix with Post Lists not Displaying when certain plugins are active, and/or using a slug that is identical to the post/page.

0.4.2.a1 Fix Post Lists not displaying.

The problem was with the parse_query where some plugins modify queried data, and was either returning the wrong object, or nothing at all. Took awhile, but this might solve most of the display issue.

Please let me know if this fixes your issue.
