Upgrade 1.02 to 1.2 issues

  • “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”
    Was running 1.02 fine
    All old wp files deleted
    1.2 uploaded
    upgrade.php run
    Main page shows “Sorry no posts…..”
    Archives display fine
    Individual posts from archive again display fine
    Changing posts / days / posts paged has no effect
    Calendar link to a post 2 days ago is highlighted, and when clicked, displays fine.
    I’ve checked all files have uploaded correctly.
    I’ve run upgrade.php twice more.
    It’s not cookies as I have got someone who has never viewed that page to look at it. I also cleared mine.
    Entries are viewable in the Edit screen.
    I’m stuck now !

    Using phpmyadmin:
    At entry 671, the post_date_gmt – which had been right – reverts to just a line of zero’s
    0000-00-00 00:00:00
    There is a post 669, but no post 670 …
    How do I cure that ?
    There are 180 entries with that data in that table.

    Huge wodges of thanks to Skippy and Laughing Lizard on #wordpress for helping me to sort it.
    Temp fix in place for a VERY odd gremlin.
