Upgrade

If I use the free verion to test it out, then decide I want the paid version, is it just a upgrade over the free version?
And do I lose any of the setup.

And then when I buy the paid version do I have to replace the main plugin and then also add the add ons as well.

So really whats the difference in the free and paid apart from the add ons
