    Hi,
I did not make my submenu color change through a child template the first time. I just upgraded to Preference Lite 1.7 and I can’t seem to follow the instructions previously posted. The menu.css file is available under preference/themes/css but I cannot find the same code that is listed in the current instructions.

I did create a child theme but activating it seemed to inactivate the parent? None of my color choices etc. Anyway, help with both would be great ?? Thanks!!

There were issues with the mobile version of the menu and its styling which some people have emailed me, so I had to redo the menu from the ground up. In fact, with the new menu, I added more colour option settings (including submenu now), on the theme options Naviation tab in the customizer.

I removed the CSS3 gradient on the submenus as it was causing some confusion on how to customize it, so I made it a more simple method of just a colour background (now a theme option setting).

I need to update the theme setup tutorials on my site for this.

However, for your site, go to your theme options and click on the Navigation tab and there you will find all your menu colour options, including the submenus.
