upgrade 2.05 database out of date nothing happens

After upgrading from 2.04 to 2.05 I get the message: “Your database is out-of-date. Please upgrade” where please upgrade is a link to upgrade.php. When I click the link nothing happens. There is no wordpress logo or anything on the page. When I access upgrade.php directly also nothing happens.
