  • “exact org. post” ?
    Who is your host ?
Can comments be left on your blog ?

“Exact original post” is what I meant. Sorry

    Host is surpass hosting.

Comments have been disabled due to spaming. I have a forum that everything is linked to anyway.

How do you update permalinks? Yes the upgrade.php has been done.

I have retried the update.php just incase, not difference.

    Anything other ideas?

I know of someone else on Surpass who has no problems so it is not host related.

When you upgraded, you did delete all the old WP files from the server before uploading the new code ?

well i guess i miss read that part of the install, it said to keep the updated files. So I stored those and then I read further and it said something about deleting through FTP so I assumed just uploading over the old files would do it.

So I need to do a full deleted and reupload?

It could be that the error is related to some sort of overwrite error, and that needs ruling out.

Delete the directories wp-admin and wp-includes
    Upload the new ones

Delete the files at site root that are used for WP, then upload new ones from a fresh download.

    BACKUP first.

okay I have done as you have asked. Still the same problem. Could there be a non .php or .css file I need to delete?

    I still cant edit posts
