• Hi there,

I just upgraded to WP 3.1 for https://www.annit.is
The site is in two language, primary: Icelandic, secondary: English
I’m using WPML 2.0.4.1 to maintain the translations

    I have been using permalinks:
    /%category%/%postname%/

Everything was working fine until 3.1 and the front page still is ..but when I click on some chosen category link…
    I get this error:

“This webpage has a redirect loop
The webpage at https://www.annit.is/ferilskra/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.”

    I have tried…
    – Resetting the htaccess file
    – Downloading and activating various combinations of the following plugins:
    Hotfix
    FV Top Level Categories
Permalink Fix & Disable Canonical Redirects Pack
    – changing the permalink settings

    No luck.

    WITH FV TOP LEVEL CATEGORIES
If I make a modification and activate the FV Top Level Categores plugin it seems everything is working for the Icelandic part of the website, aside from the top-header-menu-category links in my theme.

But the English version yields this error on top of the page:
Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/annit/Sites/annit.is/wp-includes/query.php on line 2890
Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/annit/Sites/annit.is/wp-includes/query.php on line 2890
    class=”archive category category- category- logged-in admin-bar”>

And on top of that, it doesn’t matter which category I have chosen, the page displayed is always the same, one particular category. And if I click some links on this particular category page I am directed to the latest post in this category.

If someone knows the steps to take I would appreciate them, I’ve tried severald ideas posted in the forum but no luck.

Also, if someone knows of paid consulting service I’d likely consider it.

Finally, if someone can confirm that upgrading the WPML will solve this particular problem, feel free to let me know ??

kindest regards and many thanks in advance,
    Ragnar
