    Hi,

I upgraded from 1.1.9 to version 1.3.1 and am having an issue with the text in all the editing boxes on the back end showing as empty UNLESS the Jobs for WordPress section is below all the other back end sections (such as Yoast, Author, etc.).

It appears that when any other sections are BELOW the “Position Details” there is some sort of overlapping and cancelling out of the content’s visibility.

Here are two screenshots showing a vorking and broken screen:

    https://www.genatural.com/broken.png

The only difference between the above is I dragged the Position Details to above the Yoast SEO box. You can see in the ‘broken’ one the Yoast box kind of sticking out in the middle at the point where the blanked out content from the Position Details starts working. Also notice the background box changes at that point.

Oddly I got the Jobs for WordPress plugin only about 3 weeks ago and am surprised I was offered such an old version to download in the first place.

Anyhow this is a large problem — can you help?

    Thanks
    Steve

    BlueGlass,

Thank you — this visibility issue on the backend has been resolved with your update to 1.3.3.

As far as what it looked like, it looked like the div or bounding box for your section of the backend was not encompassing all of your editable instances (of TinyMCE or whatever your editor is). So when your section was placed above any other section in the center column of the editor window it looked like any sections that were placed below it were layered partially underneath your section, clashing with your section and causing the content of your editing boxes to be hidden (possible a z-index issue on top of a missing div?).

Does that help visualize it beyond what I sent you? I can mark up those PNGs if you need me to point out what was happening.

Thanks again for the fast response and fix!! I very much appreciate your work here and I hope lots of people with our need are using your Jobs for WordPress tool. It should be standard for any WP site listing jobs in 2017.
