Upgrade causes admin widgets page to not fully load

Hi!
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but, I just upgraded to 4.8.11 and it makes my widgets page stop working in the admin. If I deactivate WPPA, the widgets page goes back to normal.

I’m trying to troubleshoot to see if something else is the problem, but everything else is working. I tried turning off all my plugins and activating/deactivating made no difference, except for WPPA. I tried reinitializing the plugin – no help. I’m wondering if I have a setting conflict somewhere?

I have a custom theme, so I activated Twenty Twelve – same issue, when WPPA is activated the widgets page — well, what seems to happen is that it can’t finish loading the page. It loads: Archives, Calendar, Categories, Custom Menu, and Last Ten Photos (all under “Available Widgets”) and then it just seems to cycle for awhile then gives up and stops. It doesn’t finish loading the rest of the widgets page.

My theme is responsive, if that means anything. The plugin is “working” — we’ve got many albums loaded and they show up and work. Site is wildwoodmusic.com –
