Upgrade didn’t upgrade

    I just thought I upgraded, I backed my db up, uploaded, and went to upgrade.php. Yet after logging back in it says WP 2.0.4 still. Any hints?

  • 1. Wrong info on your site: your blog or site will never be hosted by www.ads-software.com! This site does NOT host anything (except itself:)
    2. Did you follow the instructions for upgrading, e.g. deleting the old files?

    well yes, I meant I went to mydomain.com/upgrade.php

    I deleted a few, the ones it said on the instruction.

    If the wp-includes/version.php doesn’t say
    $wp_version = '2.0.5'
    then you need to consider reuploading your files.

    In that file, there isn’t such a variable. I will retury uploading.
