• I was happy with the free version so I bought the upgrade, despite reviews that the upgrade didn’t work. It didn’t work for me, either. The developer, Paul Swarup, blew me off when I requested support. If you’re smart, you won’t buy the upgrade either. Money wasted.

    I bought your upgrade on Dec 19 2013. I continued to request support for two weeks; I not only contacted you directly, I even gave you admin access to my site. You did nothing. I requested a refund through PayPal and you declined to give me my money back. As of today, 33 reviews on WordPress mirror my complaints. Let me ask: what do you call a person who takes your money and gives you nothing in return?

    @andrew Nevins: I will not change my review. As far as I’m concerned the “free” version is nothing more than a bait-and-switch scam to get people to pay for the pro version (which doesn’t work).

    Here’s the concern about this review.

    So that would generally mean that the review of the version here would be 4 or 5 stars. But that’s not what you are reviewing, you are reviewing your experience with this plugin author regarding the commercial version and commercial support.

    That’s outside of the scope of this review section here. These forums do not support commercial products.

    You don’t have to update your review if you don’t want to but this whole conversation of yours needs to happen between you and the author elsewhere. Your issue isn’t with the plugin hosted here it’s with your commercial transaction outside of these forums.

    If the plugin author attempted to support his customers here then at a minimum that author would get a shoulder tap and told “Please don’t do that here”.

    If you wish to delete this review and thread feel free to do so. I have no intention of following up with the developer because he talks big and delivers nothing. I’ve already wasted enough of my time and money with this guy.

    Strange, if I hadn’t let my own stubborness about this plugin get in my way, I would have had it fixed long ago. I had given a 1 star review as well, but changed it today based on the fact that yesterday just out of the blue I really wanted that plugin working again so I wrote them and it was fixed within 24 hours. I to had requested a paypal refund back in Nov/Dec and had been refused, I didn’t like that I was going to lose that money, but I was to stubborn at the time to work with Shaon. But I really missed several of the plugins abilities that you get with the paid version and wanted the problem fixed.

    My problem was a nexgen gallery conflict, the fix is actually on the forum at there site, perhaps your solution has also been posted their as well. At least have a look.
