Upgrade error..500 Internal Server Error

    Doing precisely what the guide said on this website i was trying to upgrade my wordpress to 2.6 Well when it got to the part of going to /wp-admin/upgrade.php part it showed this on the page:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encount`ered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?
