Upgrade failure
-
I’ve broken my WordPress installation during an upgrade…
I’ve been running my blog in a folder on my site for some years and I’ve upgraded before without problems.
I deleted the old files and uploaded the new ones into the folder. When I ran the upgrade script it appeared to go to plan, but then directed me away from the folder where my blog should be to the root directory of my site.
Now there is a blank where my blog should be (https://theconnexion.net/wp/) and attempts to access the admin panel are redirected to the root of the site, where the files don’t exist so I gete 404 errors.
I’ve tried to run the upgrade script again, but it says there’s no need. I’ve deleted everything, re-uploaded and then tried the install script, but it reports that wordpress is already installed (which of course it is).
wp_options has the right site url (https://theconnexion.net/wp)Can anyone help me get my blog back? Please?!
