Attempting an upgrade from 2.0.2 to 2.5.1.

When attempting to run ../wpadmin/upgrade.php, the system returns the following error. Could someone point me in a proper direction to find and fix the error?

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare timer_stop() (previously declared in /homepages/11/d120359350/htdocs/Blog/wordpress/wp-settings.php:146) in /homepages/11/d120359350/htdocs/Blog/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php on line 836

    I tried the upgrade again.

    It returned a message:

Your WordPress database is out of date and must be upgraded. Please continue.

After continuing, it now returns the message:

No upgrade required. Your WordPress database is already up-to-date! Continue.

When clicking on Continue it returns a blank page. When choosing the blog, it returns a blank page with no error.

I accessed the Dashboard directly by entering ../../wp-admin/admin.php. It said the theme was broken. I corrected the theme issue and the Blog now opens when choosing its URL.

HOWEVER, all image links are broken.

The image links are not broken. I stupidly deleted the upload folder during the upgrade.
