Upgrade form 2.3.3 – Error on index page

    I am updating a very old version of wordpress. I backed up my DB and files, and downloaded the newest version of WP to manually upgrade. I replaced wp-includes and wp-content, but have not touched wp-content. I am getting this error on the home page now:

    Warning: require(/blog/wp-includes/classes.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /blog/wp-settings.php on line 161

    What did I miss? Please help. Thank you.

    ****I meant to say that I replaced “wp-includes” and “wp-admin” only.
