Upgrade from 21.9.1 to 22.0.0 Breaks Category Pages

Hi Team,

On upgrade from 21.9.1 to 22.0.0 our category pages are throwing 404 errors or showing the wrong content.

We use Elementor Pro – Version 3.19.2?to create custom Category Page for different categories, i.e. we use Elementor Archive Templates with different show Conditions for different Categories.

Our Permalinks Category base = “.”

I’ve tried

• Yoast SEO / Settings/ Categories / Additional Settings: “Show the categories prefix in the slug” – on and off
• Permalinks Category base = “” and “.”
• Turning Yoast De-active/Active
• Clearing Cache.

Any ideas on what next?
