    Hi,

I tried to update my WordPress to 2.6 from an older 2.3 version. I got to the config file part then went through the automated process for creating a new config file- and it seemed to go ok. Then it said to proceed with the install so I clicked on- but it said it was already installed. I tried the url and just got a blank so I went back to run the /wp-admin/upgrade.php and got a message that I had successfully upgraded- but when I go to my blog I just get a blank page. Does anyone know how to fix.

    Thanks

    Rob

  • There’s no point why you had to edit your wp-config file, since the database information doesn’t change during upgrading. The info in it is correct?
Thinking of it, it can’t be a problem with that, since you should have received a “can’t connect to database” error.
Does the admin side work btw.?

    Hi Gangleri,

I hadn’t even thought of that, and was surprised to find the admin side worked just fine. I didn’t realize I would lose my theme, so as soon as I activated another one it worked fine. Thanks for your help.
