Upgrade from 2.3.3 to 3.1 – is this even possible?

    Can I run the auto-upgrade to 3.1 or should I do this manually? Can I even get the incremental upgrades between 2.3.3 to the most recent? Here’s the current situation – any advice and assistance is very much appreciated.

    I am assisting a non-profit with their WordPress website. Due to a multi-state move and several delays I was not able to get the upgrades done from 2.3.3 to 2.7 last year as I had hoped. I want to upgrade to the latest version and, if possible, not lose any old posts and pages. I have deactivated all plug-ins and set the theme back to the basic WP theme in 2.3.3.

    I have created a test website with the newest version, found a current theme that will work for us once I get the upgrade done and identified the plug-ins I will need to upgrade before I re-activate them.

    Is there anything else I am missing before I start?

    Second question, if I do incremental updates are there any I can skip over since my goal is to get to the most recent as smoothly and quickly as possible?

    Nevermind, found the downloads and did incremental upgrades and the site is now current at 3.1. Thank you.
