I have just used Cpanel Fantastico on Bluehost.com to set up WordPress. When I log in to my domainname.com/wp-admin I am told that I need to upgrade to 2.9.2. Have backed up my empty WordPress system and deleted all files from the WordPress directory on dive C. When I download the new files and go go back into domain/wp-admin I still get the the Dashboard for 2.6.5. What is really confusing me is that the WordPress directory on drive C is empty. Can anybody help me?
    Thanks
    Bob

Might also want to consider moving your installation into Simple Scripts for easier future handling.

If you want to do that, in the cPanel click WordPress, then click the green “Import” button, then select your installation from the list of Fantastico installations and click Import. If your installation is not listed with the Fantastico installations, then put in the URL of your domain and the path to the current installation, then click Import.
