Upgrade from 2.7.1 to 2.9.2

I tried to upgrade automatically, but I’m getting the following error messages:
Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-2.9.2.zip
Download failed.: Connection time-out
Installation Failed
What am I missing? Why am I getting a “connection time-out”?
