Upgrade from 3.52 to 3.6 Nothing Happening

  • I have tried a few different browsers, so it’s not that… but, when I click on upgrade, nothing happens.

    I’ve upgraded successfully before (from 3.51 to 3.52).

    Does the automatic upgrade work for this upgrade?

    Yes. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I click on upgrade, and literally nothing happens.

    Have you disabled all plugins and switched to the default theme as esmi suggested? It’s possible there’s code in a plugin or your theme that’s breaking the upgrade process.
