Upgrade from WP Shopping Cart

    I was recently tasked with upgrading a friends wordpress site. They are using the old WP Shopping Cart plugin. It looks like this is the successor to that plugin. Is there any upgrade path to bring his site up to 2013? I have tried looking though these topics but there isn’t anything that even mentions the old plugin.

  • Hi dsgraham. It should upgrade just fine… however its impossible to say for sure so make sure you install a backup programme first so you can always revert safely.

    Sometimes when people change Plugins like WP e-Commerce, and a new developer takes over, the new developer might now know about custom changes etc that might have been made.
