• I am using this plugin on a couple of sites. Recent update by default enabled a rogue button and a direct link to some scheduling crap. I am rating this as one star, will replace with something else as soon as I can. Don’t trust the developer anymore, how do I know the next thing he decides to do is to install some malware on my site?

  • There was a programming glitch that caused it to to be enabled when it was supposed to be a user preference. It has been fixed in the current download, sorry for any inconvenience. The meeting scheduler is a service that some people use, there is nothing bad about it.

The issue is resolved now. I guess Mike earns some $$ with people subscribing to vCita (just a guess), but I trust him not to introduce bugs deliberately.
And why would he? It is not in his interest to destroy the trust he has earned over the years.
And besides: you can always check the code to see what is going on. It is open source as you may know.
It was just an honest mistake somewhere in a big overhaul of the plugin. And it will be fixed.
You might rethink your 1-star rating, as this is really an impressive plugin.
And by the way: I am just a satisfied user of the plugin. Not related to Mike in any way.
