Upgrade Not Complete

Is this page completely blank? No admin sidebar?
Could you open this page again look into source code for me? Are there any error messages in the source code?

Is not completely blank, I get the sidebar, the top bar and even the PodPress logo and the title of the page (General Settings) but no content on the page.
On Chrome I get this error on the source:
Port error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist. miscellaneous_bindings:236
chromeHidden.Port.dispatchOnDisconnect

So far I could not reproduce the problem. It would be very helpful if you could give me as much details as possible. Please, report PHP or Javascript error messages, warnings, notices etc.
It would also be helpful if you could tell me your current WP version.

No PHP or Javasicript errors other than te one mentioned before.
Running WordPress 3.5.1.
By the way, this was tested on Chrome and IE10, same problem.

podPress 8.8.10.16 is available and contains a bug fix which should solve the problems.

The new version, 8.8.10.16 has been released?
On my site did not appear any updates.

I’m still using the 8.8.10.15 and with this notice “upgrade is not complete”.

On the website of a friend of mine did not show the upgrade to 8.8.10.15 or current.
And in the plugin’s page still telling the is version 8.8.10.13.

@humbertobz: Yes, 8.8.10.16 is released. But at the moment it is not available through the WP upgrade function. I will change that probably until Sunday. You may download version 8.8.10.16 here: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/podpress/developers/ and install it manually.

Sorry I didn’t reply to the last post but I’ve been busy with other things.
I’m still having the problem with the “empty” General page. The page displays the whole WordPress menus and even the PodPress logo at the top but nothing under it.
I have tried under different browsers and same thing.
Also tried disabling all the other plugins, no luck.
I saw the note in the FAQ about the PHP maximum memory but mine has been set to 256M all along so that’s not the issue for me.
any thing else I can try???

@atleeeti: Did you try with the last podPress version (8.8.10.17)?
I work on the next upgrade. But in the last 3 weeks I was also busy with other things. That is why the development slowed down.
If you have not tested 8.8.10.17 then please do it. Otherwise I would like to ask you to open the Javascript console of Chrome before you open the settings page. If the console already conatins messages when you open it, clear the console before you reload the settings page. This way you make sure that it will show only error messages of that settings page.

I am doing the upgrade- and it is taking for-ever.

I’ve stopped it for now. I don’t think it should take an hour. Although it does say I have 1056 entries.

Hi Dan,
I will change the procedure with the next upgrade. (I hope that will find the time to finish it at the next weekend.)
It is okay if you don’t continue the procedure. This part of the upgrade process would only adjust some characters of certain file names of db entries. It does not influence the rest of the plugin.
