Upgrade, now don’t get 404 alert email

I am using the code from here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Creating_an_Error_404_Page
to be sent an email every time a user gets a 404 on my site. I just upgraded to 2.6.1 (actually, I reinstalled WordPress completely due to some problems). The rest of the site is working fine, all plugins are fine, etc., but I am no longer receiving emails for 404s. I didn’t change anything on the 404 page.
