Upgrade question

  • I believe i just upgraded WP from version 1.0.2 -> 1.2.1 . I uploaded the files to the same directory as my old WP file (.htdocs) then i ran the upgrade.php. It says all went fine, but my question is how can i tell that it is actually upgraded? I still see all the old WP files and the new WP files are in a seperate folder. Did i do it right?

    Can’t get into wp-login.php either.

    I should have worded it differently. The wp-admin/post.php page doesn’t load. I get an error message that says it cannot be found.

    If you’re getting page not found, then you should probably upload the files again to make sure they’re all there.

    Still nothing, files are there. Page cannot be displayed for the wp-admin/post.php or the login.php .

    Which ftp client are you using ?
    They make mistakes at times, and it wouldn’t be the first time here that the files haven’t actually been uploaded.

    A few hours later and everything worked itself out. I got in touch with my web host and they checked everything out, said it was all fine. Maybe just a settling in period. Again thank you to all who helped me out!
