Upgrade/ Re installment..

    I was towards the end of an upgrade with the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin to upgrade to 2.3, (which if any of you out there are looking to use please save your self!)

    The operation was unsuccessful and warning signs began to arise. When logging on I recieved a failure notice.
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare timer_stop() (previously declared in /home/sneaker/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php:84) in /home/sneaker/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php on line 839

    I have my Database backed up and my content folder seems to be still in tact. How can I reinstall without losing any of the posts or content.

    Please help!

    Well, yes. they did finally correct the ftp problem but it would have been nice if they’d just added a scripted button for the upgrade to their install centrall panel as they had done for the previous upgrade.

    They also took a long time to figure out that the problem was a general ftp problem but one only in my WordPress directory. Once they got that, they fixed it. Probably had to change the owner of those folders to my name.

    As it stands I haven’t done the upgrade yet. Have to screw up my courage.
